Chavant’s Clayette is a new line of professional modeling clay that is a sulfur free, odor-free non hardening clay and remains easy to work with, smooth, and flexible without being sticky. Clayette is a reasonable substitute for the now discontinued Klean Klay, and unlike Chavant’s popular NSP clays, Clayette will not oxidize when exposed to light or air and can be heated and cooled repeatedly without affecting the consistency of the clay and can sustain temperatures in excess of 300 degrees F without melting. Small quantities of mineral spirits, citrus based solvents, lighter fluid, latex paint thinners or turpentine to help attain a smooth surface on the clay.

Appropriate for most modeling applications, sculpting, and mold making, Clayette is tan in color, and is available in soft and medium.
